Affordable Adventures
The following teambuilding activities are offered at StillPoint Country Haven, in conjunction with Affordable Adventures.
These activities are quoted according to the size of the group. Please let us know if you require pricing at any time.
Giant Foosball
This comprises of an inflatable perimeter wall and goal posts. Various games are available which are suitable for both big and small groups. Players have to be physically able, however fitness is not a pre-requisite. The different games we are able to organise all provide great fun for both the players and spectators. (A minimum of 14 participants or a maximum of 60 participants is recommended).
Movie Making
This is a fun, highly interactive programme where every single person is able to get involved, regardless of their age, level of fitness or physical abilities. Each team works together to write a script, produce, direct and act in a “Movie” using the resources provided. Teams are given a “Movie Making Kit” which contains an assortment of materials, props and goodies. Everyone has to tap into both their creative and practical abilities as they start to produce their movie.
Drumming
Each person is supplied with a drum and then introduced to drumming by a professional team of drummers, offering a unique and unforgettable experience whilst teaching each individual to work together creating an unbounded network of rhythm.
ScrabbleMatics
This is an interactive, audiovisual event that will ensure a “mini cranium work out”, while encouraging great social interaction between delegates. Basic arithmetic and “word games” are the order of the day as “ever changing” teams try and find the best solution within the given time frame.
Art Jamming
Art Jamming is suitable for groups looking for a fun, entertaining, non-physical event. The group is split into smaller project teams and made responsible for a section of a large art “Masterpiece”. No one in the group is aware of what this “Masterpiece” looks like, however, teams will need to collaborate and work together to make sure that they are all on the right track.
Indoor Team Challenge
This is a unique programme in which teams of participants compete against each other in a series of specially designed “indoor activities”. The challenges are different, fun and mentally stimulating and include Balloon Towers, Around the World, Abstract Art, Towering Food, Sliding Puzzles and Interactive Telly!
The Apprentices
A range of dynamic, crazy, new business simulation games that will catch your imagination and reinforce practical business concepts in a fun, competitive environment Teams must test their entrepreneurial skills against one another. Cameras add an exciting new dimension to the presentation and additional marketing elements provide something for everyone! Participants learn by practical experience, they also gain insight into themselves and others. Everyday themes add to the general enjoyment and give everyone something to relate to. Either the "Wine Bar" or "Pizza Shop" themes are available. (10-100pax)
Around the World
A fantastic new corporate entertainment option that combines chance, general knowledge and strategy. The team must nominate different forms of transport and subject themselves to the roll of the dice! Hi-jacks are the currency of the day and teams must watch their bank balance to ensure they can finish in time!
Murder by Numbers
A problem solving, fun team build. There is a murder mystery to solve and teams must attempt to share clues, gather evidence and name the culprit. But there is a twist - you can't trust everyone! It is suitable for larger groups (25-100 pax) with a new perspective on a well-known concept. All will be revealed when the news broadcasts of the teams guessing the Murderer, Accomplice and Murder Weapon are viewed by everyone at the end of the event!

Electric Spiders Web
Emphasises the importance of partnerships, total accountability and dependence. To avoid the pursuing Martian forces the teams are forced into a tunnel where they come across some strange arachnids. Executed in teams, this event is designed to highlight trust, pre-planning/ preparation, team strengths & weaknesses,
The Drop Zone
Emphasises the need for total trust and integrity in teams. Facilitated Discussion Time on principles learned include teamwork, utilizing team strengths and weaknesses, responsibility & accountability.
Shape Up, Don’t Ship Out
This activity emphasises the need for using initiative and effective communication. It is critical to work as a team and realize that emotions need to be dealt with constructively. Executed in teams, this event is designed to highlight leadership, communication, initiative, problem solving.
Nail the Problem
This exercise focuses on the need for lateral thinking and the importance of teamwork. Executed in teams with a facilitated discussion time.
Bridging The Border
After many years of conflict, 2 warring tribes have agreed to “bury the hatchet”, mainly in the interest of furthering trade relations. However, how do these long-standing enemies work together in order to bridge their differences? Can they work together with a common goal? Here we highlight communication, teamwork, partnerships and crisis management.
Blind Navigation
Communication and trust take on a whole new level of importance when we need to get the team through this obstacle course with only verbal instructions. This hilarious intervention will have the team in stitches just watching how people interpret their instructions. Say what you mean or pay the penalty! This event is designed to highlight communication, trust, and relationships.
Crossing the Crocodile
This fun challenge involves a high level of team spirit and a necessity to work together. All members need to work in unison and the lessons in synergy are apparent when momentum is achieved. Crisis management and the necessity of flexibility in planning are important areas of learning. This exercise also gives true insight into teamwork.
Memory Minefield
Getting through the minefield can take longer than expected if we don't learn from our mistakes. Let your team have a blast whilst learning and internalising life-lessons and basic principles of the corporate battlefield. This exercise addresses awareness, learning from mistakes and partnerships results.
Search & Destroy
This event addresses a team's dedication and focus to achieving the objective. Brain space commitment and collaboration are required to guide the team to the bomb using only the terrorist's Booby trapped code. Competing S.W.A.T. teams could make life very difficult too. This activity is designed to highlight Lateral thinking / Problem solving and mutual respect.
Work Without a Team Sucks
A simple exercise in coordination and teamwork highlights the methods which can be used to assess, plan and execute the way to an optimal solution. Utilizing principles of brainstorming, thinking out of the box and problem solving.
Walking in Pairs
Facilitated discussion time where delegates report back as to what they learnt about their partner. How they originally perceived that person, how they had prejudged that person, why they are not how they perceived them, and in what areas did they connect/relate/ have commonalities.
Flight of the Eagle
A motivational presentation utilising live raptors in the classroom. Amongst the topics which are covered are focus, winning and leadership.

Lessons from the Wild
Africa’s Big Cats have always been associated with leadership, probably because of their devastatingly effective appreciation of “Survival of the Fittest". We bring these splendid predators right into the classroom in order to share their wisdom with your team. High Level interactions with full grown Cheetah provide a memorable learning experience. The fully grown Cheetahs can interact and a photo opportunity is possible.

African Drumming
